We are close to Campbell River which is known as the 'Salmon Capital' of the world, you can even do snorkelling along side them. With the fresh water it provides an opportunity to catch all 5 salmon species as well as various fresh water species. Spectacular wildlife excursions for viewing Grizzly Bears, Orca Whales, Sea Lions, and Seals. For the Bird Watching Enthusiasts you can see, Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, Cormorant and other sea birds. Oyster River nature park is one of the best places to have a lovely walk through woodland and if your a bird watcher you will need to pack your camera for all the birds you will see and its right here in Black Creek just 1 minuite away.
The Comox Valley area is an ideal location where you can Ski in the morning and Kayak in the afternoon, its the only place in Canada you can do that. And the Comox Valley has some fantastic golf courses, and because of our mild climate you can play all year round.
The host is a qualified Marine Biologist and is always ready to talk about the environment and wildlife, and is now a keen moutain biker. He has done extensive travel and loves to share stories and hear others experiance's. He is keen on Hikes, Snow Boarding. While the hostess, 'that's me' once a professional dancer and teacher, lucky enough to have travelled around different parts of the world dancing. Finishing my career in the Film Industry as an actress in television and as a body double for some big named film stars in well known movies.
